Water temps ranged from 84 to 86 degree. Current water temp is 84 degrees. Little change from last week, cooler water is improving the fishing.
Catch and release of the week was a Tarpon approx. 76" estimated at over 100 lbs.
Black Drum, and Spanish are doing well. Pompano, spade fish, and whiting continue.
The Trout fishing is slow.
Sharks and skates are plentiful with dogfish 12-24".
Preferred bottom bait is shrimp and squid, mud minnows for flounder, live shrimp for Trout. A few mullet minnows are showing up.
Preferred fishing times- daylight to midmorning, clear water and tide changes.
Fishing Forecast- More of the same clear water provide good catches.
